At least 20,000 residents of Iran's Hormozgan province have been left without water supply after US strikes on water reservoirs.
According to Oxu.Az citing TASS, the information was provided by Hamzeh Pur, the director general of the provincial water and wastewater company.
"The infrastructure for distributing drinking water, including two concrete tanks with capacities of 500 and 2,000 cubic meters equipped with mechanical devices, intended for Kuhestak city and 10 villages of Bamani district with a total population of 20,000, was destroyed as a result of US troop attacks," he stated.
The director noted that water supply to settlements has been suspended and alternative supply options are being prepared.
