In a terrifying incident in Gulmarg, India, over 300 tourists were left stranded in 65 cabins on one of Asia's highest cable car lines.
According to Oxu.Az citing PTI, both cable car lines stopped due to a technical fault around midday. Tourists were trapped about 150 meters above ground.
The fault caused panic among holidaymakers. A large-scale rescue operation involving multiple agencies lasted seven hours. Heavy rain made the operation even more difficult.
Local authorities confirmed that all stranded people were evacuated safely.
