A 4.9 magnitude earthquake struck near the coast of Venezuela's Aragua state.
According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre, the epicenter was located 80 km northwest of Caracas, with a depth of 35 km.
No immediate reports of casualties or damage were available.
This comes after two powerful earthquakes of magnitudes 7.2 and 7.5 hit Venezuela on June 24, resulting in 920 deaths and over 3,300 injuries.
