A 5.8 magnitude earthquake struck central Indonesia in the Molucca Sea.
The Russian Academy of Sciences' Geophysical Service reported the quake was destructive.
The epicenter was located 111 km east of Bitung on Sulawesi Island and 20 km west of Macu Island.
The US Geological Survey recorded the quake at 5.8 magnitude with a depth of 47.7 km.
