Armenia's Central Election Commission (CEC) has allowed the prosecution of six parliamentary candidates from the Powerful Armenia Party.
According to Oxu.Az, citing Armenian media, the individuals are Vage Tavakalyan, Ayke Avakyan, Vage Yegiazaryan, Susan Badoyan, Ashot Saakyan, and Artur Abramyan.
The Armenian Investigative Committee has already decided to detain them.
They are charged with "voter bribery and large-scale money laundering."
The leader of the Powerful Armenia Party is Russian businessman Samvel Karapetyan. Earlier, one of his closest associates, Alik Aleksanyan, was also arrested in connection with this case.
