An 81-year-old American streamer, Sue Jaco (known as "GrammaCrackers" on social media), was detained by police during a livestream.

According to Dexerto, viewers saw armed police enter the room while the streamer was asleep.

The next day, "GrammaCrackers" went live again and joked about the incident. She said police arrived due to a false call, with an unknown person reporting that the retiree had been shot.

Jaco noted that about 20 police cars and five SWAT officers arrived, with drones flying over the building. "They took me outside. I didn't understand what was happening, but it was a bit fun. I even enjoyed it," she said.

Her grandson added that police handled the streaming equipment carefully and tried to stay out of the camera.

"GrammaCrackers" became famous for her "Minecraft" streams. In 2025, she opened a YouTube channel to raise funds for her grandson's sarcoma treatment, collecting $59,000. His disease is now in remission.
