Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has admitted for the first time that he was subjected to airstrikes in February, when the conflict with the US and Israel began.
According to Oxu.Az, the Iranian diplomat himself revealed this information. In an interview with Lebanon's "Al-Mayadeen" TV channel, he said his building was bombed, but his section remained intact.
"The building where we were was hit, but the part we were in was not damaged; the other side collapsed. I was there at the moment of the explosion," the minister said.
The transcript of his interview was published by Iran's Foreign Ministry. Araghchi also spoke about the nuclear program negotiations with the US in Geneva during the administration of Iran's late Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
