The "Crescent-Stars" held their first open training session in Arizona as part of preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
After the session, the police motorcycle escorting the team crashed while returning to the hotel. Multiple police and ambulance vehicles arrived at the scene. Members of the Turkish national team waited at the scene for about 20 minutes.
It was reported that first aid to the injured police officer was provided by the Turkish national team's medical staff.
The 2026 World Cup will be held from June 11 to July 19 in the USA, Mexico, and Canada.
