Albania's Foreign Ministry summoned Russian Ambassador Aleksey Zaytsev following Russian strikes on Kyiv.

Oxu.Az reports, citing RBK, that Foreign Minister Ferit Hoxha made the announcement on X.

Hoxha claimed that on the night of May 24, the building where Albania's ambassador to Ukraine resides was damaged. Russia's Defense Ministry stated that strikes on civilian infrastructure in Ukraine were not planned or executed.

"The Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Albania was summoned to the Foreign Ministry to provide explanations," Hoxha said.
