Chinese startup "Meng Xiaoyi" has announced the creation of a voice translator for animals. The device is worn around the pet's neck and recognizes sounds, emotions, and language.
According to Oxu.Az, citing Oddity Central, the AI-powered device translates animal language with approximately 95% accuracy.
The device costs $118. The company claims to have received 10,000 pre-orders. However, some social media users say it's a "human intelligence test" rather than a pet translator.
"Meng Xiaoyi" claims the translator is based on large-scale modeling technology "Tongyi Qianwen". The device has collected extensive data on pet behavior and language, but no tests or research have been provided to support these claims.
