Apple has removed apps owned by Russian company VK from the App Store without prior notice.
VK stated in an official announcement that the company has never been under sanctions. Apple is restricting Russian users.
Currently, only the main VK social network app remains available. Odnoklassniki, Mail, VK Music, and other apps are gone.
Users will not receive message notifications, but previously installed apps will continue working. No restrictions apply to Android users.
VK called Apple's move unjustified.
