The famous "Aqua" band, which gave the world the super hit "Barbie Girl", is ending its concert activities.

According to Oxu.Az, the band members issued a joint statement on their official social media accounts.

The participants announced their decision to close this bright chapter in their creative history. They emphasized that "Aqua" has been a huge part of their lives and that going through this journey together was an incredible opportunity for the musicians. The artists also added that they achieved the happiness of traveling the world and singing with millions of listeners on the same dance floor.

According to the musicians, after many years of joint activity, they realized that it was time to preserve this great legacy while at its peak:

"Now we feel that it is the best time to say goodbye to fans while memories are still fresh and strong, and our love for each other is undamaged."

The "Aqua" band deeply thanked all their fans for their endless support over the 30 years of their activity. The main figures of the band, Sören, Lene, and Rene, stated that after this departure, only a great feeling of love and gratitude will remain in their hearts.

Recall that the Danish band made a huge impact on the world music industry and wrote its name in history with the 1997 album "Aquarium" and the cult song "Barbie Girl", which became a global hit.
