A group of armed youths in the Democratic Republic of Congo attacked a hospital treating Ebola patients. The attackers demanded the return of their deceased relatives' bodies.
According to Oxu.Az, the Associated Press reported the news, citing the hospital's head doctor.
The incident occurred on May 24 evening in the city of Monqbvalu. Medical staff had to urgently evacuate patients.
Head doctor Richard Lokudu said the armed assailants demanded the bodies of two relatives. No injuries have been reported.
Recall that on May 22, unknown persons set fire to a medical center treating Ebola patients in the city of Rwampara, Congo. That incident followed the refusal to return the bodies of deceased friends to local youths.
