US Secretary of State Marco Rubio is visiting Yerevan today. He will sign a memorandum of understanding with his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan.

According to Oxu.Az, this information was included in the US foreign policy chief's work schedule published on Monday.

The document shows that Rubio and Mirzoyan will meet at 15:30 Baku time. At 16:00 Baku time, the signing ceremony of the memorandum, details of which have not yet been disclosed, will take place.

The Armenian Foreign Ministry announced Rubio's visit to Yerevan on May 25. Based on the results of the meeting, the signing of bilateral documents and press statements are planned.
