Australia's richest woman, Gina Rinehart, has invested nearly $100 million in US defense and aerospace companies.
Bloomberg reports that Rinehart's private company, Hancock Prospecting, purchased shares in four major US defense contractors: RTX, Northrop Grumman, L3Harris Technologies, and Lockheed Martin.
The total investment reached $97 million as of March 31. Rinehart's net worth is estimated at $43.8 billion.
She continues to grow her capital by diversifying her company's investment portfolio.
