"Haber Global" TV channel has prepared a program about the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) held in Baku.
Channel correspondent Murat Karatas presented a report. He noted that the forum has over 40,000 participants from 182 countries. The event includes state representatives, mayors, urban planning experts, academics, and international organizations.
"Hosting WUF13 in Azerbaijan is remarkable. The reason is the reconstruction works in Karabakh after 30 years of occupation. Azerbaijan will share its experience in this construction process at the forum. Smart cities, smart villages, and green energy-based settlements - all these plans will be presented to guests," the journalist said.
Murat Karatas also noted Turkey's participation. According to him, Ankara's experience in disaster management and sustainable urbanization will also be presented.
