Azerbaijani gets high position in Ukraine

Azerbaijani Gunduz Mammadov appointed Deputy Chief of Military Law Enforcement Service in Ukraine. Defense Minister signed the order.

An Azerbaijani, Gunduz Mammadov, has been appointed Deputy Chief of the Military Law Enforcement Service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to Oxu.Az citing Report, the order was signed by Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov.

Mammadov is originally from Ganja, Azerbaijan. He worked for a long time in Ukrainian prosecutor's offices. From July 2014, he served as prosecutor of Odessa, and from December 2015 as deputy prosecutor of Odessa region.

He was appointed prosecutor of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea by the Ukrainian government on August 22, 2016.

From 2019 to 2021, he was Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
