During the drone attack on the Russian capital Moscow, the country's largest shopping centers also suffered damage.
According to Oxu.Az, an Azerbaijani businessman living in Russia said in an interview with İctimai TV that his stores were completely burned in the drone attack.
"I sell leather goods, and my products are completely burned. They are not letting us in now. The situation is very tense. The damage is huge, more than you think," he noted.
One of Russia's largest shopping centers, "Sadovod", also suffered damage during the drone attack on Moscow.
According to Oxu.Az, the mayor of the Russian capital, Sergey Sobyanin, posted information on his social media account.
According to the mayor, as a result of the operation of air defense systems, the remains of one of the downed drones damaged one of the buildings of the "Sadovod" shopping complex:
"As a result of the debris falling on the territory of the shopping center, minor destruction was recorded in one of the buildings. There are no casualties. All operational and emergency services are actively working at the site of the debris fall."
It should be noted that the famous "Sadovod" shopping complex, covering tens of hectares, playing an important role in the Russian economy and visited by tens of thousands of people daily, is owned by the company "Kievskaya ploščaď" (Kiev Square). The co-owners of this giant holding are well-known billionaires originally from Azerbaijan - from the Red Village of Guba region, God Nisanov and Zarakh Iliev, leaders of Russia's commercial real estate market.
Recall that the company they lead has held the top spot in the ranking of the most profitable real estate for many years.
