A Russian IT specialist, Denis Zakharov, has mysteriously disappeared in Thailand after contacting the police.
The 43-year-old arrived in Thailand on May 25 and went to relax on Koh Phangan. Four days later, his belongings, documents, money, and phone were stolen.
He traveled to Bangkok, filed a police report, and officers gave him money for a taxi to the Russian embassy. After that, he vanished without a trace.
