The war in Ukraine has reignited in recent days. Azerbaijanis living there are also suffering. Our compatriots, especially in Kyiv, are experiencing the impact of air strikes.
Kyiv resident Ilyas Talibov told Baku TV: "My car is full of holes. Around 3 AM, I heard a powerful explosion. First, it hit a nearby building, then other places. Chaos was everywhere. Gasoline was flowing, buildings were on fire."
Another resident, Elshad Shahmerdanov, said: "I have lived here for a long time. Since the war began, there have been missile and drone attacks. A missile hit the house, killing a female journalist. Luckily, we were not home that day."
