Archbishop Baghrat Galstanyan has been released to house arrest.
The Court of Appeals partially granted the motion of his lawyer Hovannes Khudoyan.
According to the court decision, Galstanyan is prohibited from contacting other defendants in the criminal case.
The lower court also allowed him a seven-hour trip to Ijevan to vote in the June 7 election.
Recall that the leader of the "Sacred Struggle" movement had been in custody since late June on charges of attempted coup d'état.
