At least 15 people were killed and six injured when a truck overturned in central Bangladesh.

The accident occurred in Dhaka district, about 100 km northwest of the capital. The truck was loaded with steel rods and was carrying passengers heading to celebrate Eid al-Adha.

Police said the driver likely fell asleep at the wheel. The victims were trapped under the metal rods.
