Armenia's Anti-Corruption Committee has initiated criminal proceedings against blogger Mika Badalyan.
According to Oxu.Az, the committee's press service released a statement.
The court granted the committee's motion and ordered Badalyan's arrest.
On June 3, the committee announced the opening of a criminal case into pre-election bribery. The blogger, who resides in Russia, allegedly offered various benefits to Armenian citizens in exchange for their participation in the election.
The case is part of ongoing investigations related to the parliamentary elections in Armenia.
