Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva underwent his first session of preventive radiotherapy on the morning of May 25. The treatment follows his April surgery to remove a tumor on his scalp.
According to the hospital's official bulletin, the president remains under full medical supervision but will continue his official duties without restrictions.
"CNN Brasil" reports, citing reliable sources, that Lula will undergo a total of 15 radiotherapy sessions. The procedures are expected to be completed within the next three weeks.
