Britain's 'Radio Caroline' station mistakenly broadcast the death of King Charles III due to a technical error.

According to Oxu.Az, this was reported by 'The Independent' newspaper.

After the erroneous news aired, the station paused broadcasting for 15 minutes. The presenters then returned to the air to apologize for the mistake.

They stated that the announcement was caused by a 'computer error': a pre-prepared program for the monarch's death was accidentally triggered.

Radio Caroline's director, Peter Moore, apologized to King Charles III and listeners on social media.

It is noted that Charles III ascended the throne on September 8, 2022, after the death of Queen Elizabeth II. His coronation took place on May 6, 2023, at Westminster Abbey in London.
