On June 7, a bus overturned in southern Iraq, killing 21 people and injuring 19 others.

The accident occurred on the road connecting Nasiriyah and Basra. Iraqi Prime Minister Ali al-Zaydi ordered an investigation.

The Health Ministry reported that among the deceased were Iranian tourists. The injured were transported to hospitals for treatment.
