Wildfires in California, USA, have spread across a large area and are threatening homes. Tens of thousands of residents have been ordered to evacuate.
According to Oxu.Az, NBC News reported that residents of Santa Susana and Simi Valley, about 50 kilometers from Los Angeles, face serious risks.
The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection stated that the flames have damaged at least one home. No injuries have been reported so far.
The largest fire has engulfed approximately 6,000 hectares. Special aircraft have been deployed to fight the blaze. High temperatures and strong winds are fueling the spread.
