Baku TV's "How is it there?" segment explores the unique features of the Canary Islands. Located in the Atlantic Ocean, the islands are known for Lanzarote caves and Fuerteventura beach.

Life is closely tied to the ocean: children learn to swim at an early age, and surfing is one of the most popular sports.

According to Spanish law, all beaches are free, and paid beaches are prohibited.

Special attention is paid to ecology. Solar energy is widely used, and aloe plantations have become part of the economy.

The education system is distinctive: parent meetings are not held collectively; individual and confidential meetings with each family are arranged. Children from low-income families receive free meals at school.

Another interesting aspect is houses built into the rocks. Cool in summer and warm in winter, these homes have been inhabited for centuries.
