At Istanbul Airport, 22.5 kilograms of cannabis were discovered in the suitcase of a passenger holding a Spanish passport.

According to Turkish media, customs officers took the suspect into strict control.

During an X-ray inspection, packaged drugs were found inside the suitcase.

The suspect was detained. The seized drugs have a market value of 20 million 300 thousand Turkish lira (approximately $746,331).

Following the investigation, the suspect was arrested.
