A German state court in Verden has sentenced former Red Army Faction (RAF) member Daniela Klette to 13 years in prison.

The verdict is for her involvement in armed robberies between 1999 and 2016. The 67-year-old was part of the RAF's 'third generation.'

She was also accused of terrorist acts including an attack on the US Embassy in 1991 and a prison bombing in 1993, but no verdict was reached due to statute of limitations.

Klette had been in hiding since the early 1990s and was only arrested in Berlin in 2024. During her time underground, she committed several armed robberies.
