In Modena, northern Italy, a car plowed into a crowd, leaving at least 10 people injured. The incident occurred in the city center.

Four of the injured are in serious condition. One woman lost both legs after being pinned against a shop window.

The 31-year-old driver attempted to flee but was apprehended by police. He also stabbed a person who tried to stop him.

According to witnesses, the driver was also injured, but police managed to detain him quickly.
