A cat named Toby from Michigan, USA, has officially entered the Guinness World Records thanks to his unusual paws.

Veterinarians have confirmed that Toby has 28 toes.

Typically, cats have 18 toes. However, Toby was born with a rare congenital condition called polydactyly, characterized by extra toes.

The previous record was held by a cat named Jake from Canada in 2002, who also had 28 toes.

Toby's owner, Delani Henderson, said she was initially astonished by his paws. She notes that despite this unusual feature, Toby is perfectly healthy, and his extra toes do not hinder his running, playing, or normal cat life.
