Heavy rainfall in central and southern China has caused severe flooding, resulting in at least 10 deaths.
According to Reuters, continuous downpours have led to widespread flooding in China's southern and central regions, killing at least 10 people. Schools and workplaces have been suspended, and there are major disruptions to electricity and transportation.
The China Meteorological Administration reported that the worst-hit provinces include Jiangxi, Anhui, Hunan, Hubei, Guangxi, Guangdong, and Hainan. Guangxi authorities have set up 99 shelters for over 4,000 citizens, and nearly 7,000 people have been evacuated.
