Following a court ruling declaring Kemal Kilicdaroglu as the new chairman of the Republican People's Party (CHP), the evacuation process of the party's headquarters has begun.
Tensions and confrontations occurred at the party building. Kilicdaroglu's lawyer, Celal Celik, officially requested the Ankara governorship and police to vacate the building.
In the application, it was stated that despite Kilicdaroglu's authority to represent the CHP, the previous party leadership stubbornly refused to leave the headquarters.
After the tense evacuation, Ozgur Ozel, who had been removed from his position by court order, left the building.
