Cuba's leader Miguel Diaz-Canel has rejected claims that Cuba poses a threat to the United States.
In a post on social media platform X, he stated that Cuba has no aggressive intentions or plans against any state.
He emphasized that Cuba never had and does not have plans to attack the US, a fact well known to the US leadership and national security agencies.
Diaz-Canel acknowledged the US's legitimate right to self-defense but warned against using it as a pretext for war against Cuba.
He condemned sanctions as mass punishment and genocide, accusing the US of using hate rhetoric to justify economic war against Cuba.
