A Czech resident wins a record €120 million in the lottery. A 15% tax will be applied to the prize.

A Czech resident has won a record €120 million in the lottery, the largest sum in the country's history.

According to Oxu.Az, citing the "Idnes" portal, the previous record was set in May 2015 at around €100 million.

Under current law, organizers must transfer the full amount within two months. A 15% tax (€18 million) will be deducted.
