A shooting in Muscatine, Iowa, has left seven people dead, including the suspect. The incident occurred late Wednesday, authorities said.
Police reported that the shooting stemmed from a domestic dispute. All victims are believed to be relatives of the 52-year-old suspect, Ryan McFarland.
Officers responded to the scene at around 12:12 p.m. and found four bodies. McFarland fled but was later found dead on a riverbank from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Two additional bodies were discovered subsequently. The investigation is ongoing.
