If a treaty is signed between Iran and the US on June 19, the Strait of Hormuz will be completely opened within 30 days.
This claim was made by Iran's Mehr agency. According to sources, the US will lift the naval blockade of Iranian ports within a month and withdraw its military contingent from border areas with the Islamic Republic.
Additionally, the US will refrain from imposing new sanctions on Iran during the final stage of negotiations, and will not send new military forces to the Middle East. The agency states that a ceasefire must take effect immediately on all fronts, including Lebanon.
The anticipated agreement will be confirmed by a relevant UN Security Council resolution. The parties have also agreed to create a special mechanism to monitor implementation, though its specifics remain unclear.
