A drone crashed onto a street in the İlkadım district of Samsun, Turkey, early in the morning.

Oxu.Az reports that residents were awakened by a loud explosion. The incident caused panic in the neighborhood.

The fragmented drone damaged two nearby buildings, but no injuries were reported.

Preliminary investigations indicate the drone had a wingspan and tail length of about 1 meter. Police are investigating who owns the drone and its purpose.
