The number of Ebola infections in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) has reached 1,307.
According to the Ministry of Communications and Press, the death toll has risen to 377. The fatality rate stands at 28.8%.
Currently, 615 patients are receiving treatment in hospitals. 180 people have fully recovered. Contact tracing coverage has reached 81.3%.
The latest outbreak began on May 15 in eastern DRC and Uganda. It has affected three provinces. In Uganda, 20 infections have been reported, with two deaths.
