Armenia's Anti-Corruption Committee has announced the detention of 5 individuals for bribing voters in favor of the "Strong Armenia" party.

According to local media, the committee's official statement confirmed that the office head of the "Our Way" public organization, founded by businessman Samvel Karapetyan, offered bribes to voters.

Investigations revealed that the official provided money to a Yerevan resident under the guise of covering surgical expenses, disguising it as charity.

A criminal case has been opened, and operational-search measures are ongoing. The exact number of detainees has not been disclosed. Samvel Karapetyan's party has previously faced similar allegations.
