Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a phone conversation with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

According to Oxu.Az, the information was shared on the social media account of the Turkish Presidency's Directorate of Communications.

During the phone call, the normalization process of Turkey-Armenia relations and regional issues were discussed.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan congratulated the Turkish President on the occasion of Eid al-Adha and spoke about the work done towards normalization of Turkey-Armenia relations.

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that the normalization process between Turkey and Armenia continues with steps aimed at starting direct trade.

The President also emphasized that Turkey continues its efforts to ensure peace and stability in the region and always supports steps to be taken in this direction.
