Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has welcomed the peace agreement reached between the US and Iran, calling it a significant step toward stability in the region.
In a social media post, he said: "I welcome this agreement with great pleasure. I sincerely hope this news, long awaited by the world, leads to lasting peace and security in our region."
Erdogan urged both sides to avoid rhetoric that could increase tensions and to remain vigilant against possible sabotage attempts.
He thanked Pakistan for its mediation efforts and praised Qatar and Saudi Arabia for their diplomatic support.
Erdogan reaffirmed Turkey's commitment to supporting all initiatives for peace and stability in the region.
