European countries have initiated negotiations with Iran's naval forces, particularly the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), to ensure safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz.

According to Iran's state broadcaster, after the passage of ships from East Asian countries including China, Japan, and Pakistan, Europeans have also joined talks with the IRGC Navy.

The situation around Iran escalated following actions by the US and Israel, effectively blocking the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz for global oil and LNG trade.

This blockade is causing significant damage to Western economies.
