A powerful explosion occurred at a gas distribution station in the Kizilyurt industrial zone of Dagestan.
According to the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, three consecutive explosions were recorded on the main gas pipeline.
25 personnel and 7 pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.
No casualties have been reported. Nearby residents were evacuated as a precaution.
The causes of the incident are being investigated.
