Explosion in China: 7 dead, 17 injured

A powerful explosion occurred in China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, killing at least 7 people and injuring 17 others.

According to Xinhua News Agency, the blast happened late at night in Sinan village, near Guilin city.

Initial investigations have ruled out a gas leak as the cause. Police are continuing their efforts to determine the exact reason for the incident.
