A series of explosions have occurred near the city of Sirik in Iran's Hormozgan province.
According to Oxu.Az, this information was reported by Iran's state broadcaster IRIB.
Reports indicate that the exact location and cause of the explosions have not yet been determined. An investigation is underway.
It is worth recalling that earlier, the Iranian Armed Forces' "Khatam al-Anbiya" Central Headquarters announced Tehran's decision to completely stop the movement of ships through the Strait of Hormuz against the backdrop of repeated US strikes on the country's territory.
In turn, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy stated that it had struck at least two ships attempting to cross the strait.
