A workplace accident at SpaceX's facility in Texas has resulted in one fatality.
According to Oxu.Az, citing local officials and The Wall Street Journal, the incident occurred on Friday.
The victim was an employee of a contractor working on the development of the Starbase complex. The employee died after falling.
SpaceX has been accelerating infrastructure upgrades at the base to allow more frequent launches of Starship prototypes. The next test flight of Starship is scheduled for May 20. The company envisions Starship as a universal space system capable of crewed flights to Earth orbit, satellite deployment, Moon and Mars missions, as well as voyages to more distant celestial bodies.
