Pope Leo XIV was one of the first to test Ferrari's new fully electric model, the 'Luce'.
The special version was presented to the Pope at his residence in Castel Gandolfo. Ferrari President John Elkann and other officials explained the technical features of the electric vehicle.
Behind the wheel, the Pope asked, 'Is this Ferrari's first four-door car?' He was told it was the first five-seater in the company's history.
After the presentation, 'Ferrari Luce' faced harsh criticism on social media. Many users called it 'one of the ugliest cars in the brand's history', noting that the design seems more suitable for a budget segment than a luxury brand.
