Finland's unemployment rate rose to 10.8% in May, the highest level in 26 years.
According to Bloomberg, citing Statistics Finland, the jobless rate for those aged 15-74 increased by 0.1 percentage point from April.
The economic recovery from the coronavirus pandemic has been the weakest among European countries. Geopolitical uncertainty is exacerbating the situation.
Eurostat data shows Finland now has the highest unemployment rate in the European Union.
